Lifeboats and Davits

We conduct inspections and repairs for both annual and five-year intervals of lifeboats and davits, ensuring that all equipment complies with international safety regulations. Our services include:
  • Annual and five-year inspections, including the overload test of lifeboats and launching devices, in accordance with the SOLAS Regulation (MSC. 1/Circ. 1206).
  • Installation, commissioning, and comprehensive testing of boat and davit systems.
  • Load tests using our own water bags, ensuring that systems operate under maximum performance conditions.
  • Comprehensive maintenance and repair of boats and launching systems.
We are approved by the leading manufacturers of lifeboats and davits, such as:

ORIENTAL PRECISION, HAI HONG, DONGNAM MARINE, HYUNDAI, NISHI-F, MIURA, MANABE, MANSEI, TSUNEISHI, SHIGI, SEKIGAHARA, ZHENJIANG AUX. MACHINERY, QUINGDAO BEIHAI, JIANGYIN XINJIANG, HATECKE, GLOBAL DAVIT, FASSMER, DAVIT INTERNATIONAL.

If the manufacturer of your equipment is not on our approval list, Extinval can provide the service under the pavilion's authorization and the supervision of a classification society inspector of the vessel.

Our specialized team is always ready to provide maintenance and repair of lifeboats and launching systems. Among our additional services are:
